Bus 4a alerts

Live countdown alerts for the 4a from Coppid Beech Hill to Reading, straight to your lock screen on school mornings.

Step 1 — add to Home Screen

1. Open this page in Safari (not in-app browser).

3. Open the new Bus 4a Alerts app from your Home Screen and continue below.

Step 2 — enable alerts

Tap the button, then tap Allow when your phone asks for notification permission.

Step 3 — lock screen widget (optional)

For a Flighty-style widget on your lock screen: install the free Scriptable app, create a new script called Bus 4a, and paste in the code from this file. Then long-press your lock screen → Customize → Lock Screen → Add Widgets → Scriptable → pick Bus 4a.

The widget shows the live countdown on school mornings. The push alert is the reliable "leave now" signal — the widget refreshes when iOS feels like it.
